Step 2: convert multi simple products To external<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
To convert multi simple products to external you need to click on the \u201cBulk Edit<\/strong>\u201d button and continue as following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Open the \u201cType<\/strong>\u201d tab in the bulk edit form\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Open the combo box in front of \u201cProduct Type<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose \u201cExternal \/ Affiliate<\/strong>\u201d product from the list<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click on \u201cDo bulk edit<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
As you can see in the below picture, All simple products we had filtered are now converted to external:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bind editing is another way to convert multi simple products to external directly from the product table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To bind edit simple products you need to follow below actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Add \u201cProduct Type<\/strong>\u201d column from the \u201cColumn Profile<\/strong>\u201d to the product table<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Filter the right products<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Mark \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d in the main page toolbar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Select the products you need to be converted in the table<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Open the combo box of \u201cProduct Type<\/strong>\u201d column in front of one the products<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Choose \u201cExternal \/ Affiliate Product<\/strong>\u201d from the list<\/li>\n\n\n\n
