Bind edit is a useful option of PBULKiT – Bulk Edit WooCommerce Products – plugin<\/a> that lets you apply some same changes at the same time. You can select some products, change one of them and apply this change to all other products at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marking the checkbox next to \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d on the main page of our plugin enables you to change one of the features of a product in the product table and extend it to other products that you have selected in the product table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it clear, let\u2019s make an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binding Edit product features<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start the Bind Editi<\/strong>ng, you can filter those products that you need to change some of their features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this tutorial, we are going to make some changes to our new products. So, we filter the products that their \u201cTitle<\/strong>\u201d includes \u201cNew<\/strong>\u201d, as you can see in the below picture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use the \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d option, we have to select some of the products. So, we marked the first 5 products and then marked the checkbox next to \u201cBin Edit<\/strong>\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example: To see how \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d can help us, we tried to change the title of the first product in the list and rename it as \u201cSummer Collection\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

By pressing the \u201cEnter<\/strong>\u201d key on the keyboard, the result is exactly as we expected. As shown below, the titles of all 5 products have been changed to \u201cSummer Collection<\/strong>\u201d while the other titles have remained unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get you more familiar with this option, we want to bind edit \u201cProduct type<\/strong>\u201d as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make this change, at first we select 3 products by marking their ID checkboxes. Then we marked \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d and choose \u201cVariable Product<\/strong>\u201d from the drop down list of the first product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press enter to change the \u201cProduct Type<\/strong>\u201d of all selected products simultaneously:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can only bind edit the features of products displaying in the product table, you have to add that feature as a column to the product table before edit them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding new columns is not a difficult task in our plugin as we described it completely in <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another example, let\u2019s try to select some products and change the \u201cRegular Price<\/strong>\u201d of one of them after marking \u201cBind Edit<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press on enter to our plugin change the Regular price of those selected products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: <\/strong>The features which are not editable will remain unchanged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in the above example, some products are selected from variable products whose price is not editable. So, despite us selecting them to bind edit their \u201cRegular Price\u201d, their features remain unchanged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
