To manage product columns, a special tab called \u201cColumn manager<\/strong>\u201d has been designed in our plugin. In this tab, you can see two parts including Column Profile<\/strong> and Create New Profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Column manager tab<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the first section of this tab, different column profiles and created profiles – by the store manager –  are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The default profiles are not editable as you can see a lock icon in front of them assigned to the \u201cActions<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The user created profiles are editable and you are able to edit or delete them according to the options displayed under \u201cActions<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create new profile<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For adding a new profile with the desired column in Woocommerce Bulk Product Editing <\/a>Plugin you should create a new profile and add your preferred column on init.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To manage product columns and create a new profile, you can search the fields you need to add to the product table or find them from the below list and check the checkbox next to them as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move your desire fields by clicking on the Arrow in front of the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new form, we make it possible for you to manage product columns by using following features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change the title of columns<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a text field for each column that you can set your custom title for each column or leave it as default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Example, we want to change \u2018height\u2019 to \u2018product height\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose a background color<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is an option for the store manager to change the background of the table’s columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 different colors as default are available below the color palette; however you can select any color as you wish by moving the cursor on the palette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we chose a yellow color for the Length (Check the result at the end of this tutorial.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change the order of columns<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To better manage the column profile, you can change the order of fields you have already added to the list by holding the cursor on\u00a0and drag the item you need up or down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, to manage product columns we drag and drop Length after Height in the below picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delete unnecessary columns<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you want to delete a column from a preset, just click on the Cross sign to remove your field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save preset<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When everything looks good, it\u2019s the time to type a name for this new column profile in the \u201cPreset Name<\/strong>\u201d box and click on Save Preset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, you have later a feasible access to this column profile to easily manage product columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this tutorial to manage product columns, we selected \u201cnew profile<\/strong>\u201d as the name of our new profile column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By scrolling up, you can now find new row as \u201cnew profile\u201d at the end of list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we mentioned before, to customize these created profiles you can click on \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d or \u201cdelete<\/strong>\u201d in front of each field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you click on \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d, a new popup called \u201cEdit Column preset<\/strong>\u201d will be displayed and you are able to add or remove any column for that column profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we added Gallery to \u201cnew profile<\/strong>\u201d by clicking on \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d as you can see in the below picture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After editing, to save column changes, you have to click on \u201cSave Changes<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final step on how to manage product columns<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We will completely describe how to choose this new column profile in the next tutorial. However, as we promised before, you can see that how our customization changes the appearance of product table in the main page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see in addition to the \u201cID\u2019<\/strong> and \u201cProduct Title<\/strong>\u201d which are always displayed as the default columns in the product table, exactly 3 other columns with the specified order including Height, Length and Gallery are displayed in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The color of data in the Length column is yellow as we selected before.To manage product columns of your profiles you are also able to choose the \u201ccolumn Profile<\/strong>\u201d option in the Bulk Edit tab which we will discuss about it later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
