In this field, the stock quantity of each variable product is shown, and managers can set a new or edit the number of items available in stock for each product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/plugins\/woocommerce-variations-bulk-edit\/?utm_source=kb&amp;utm_content=bulk-edit-var-stock\">VBULKiT &#8211; Bulk Edit WooCommerce Variations &#8211; plugin<\/a> allows you to easily manage and edit the stock quantity of each variable product in your WooCommerce store. By displaying all fields related to variable products in a table, this plugin enables you to change the stock quantity of some or all variations in bulk.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this post, we will fully teach you how to edit the stock quantity of variable products with the VBULKiT &#8211; In this form, you can see the variations of each product as well as \u201cRegular price\u201d, \u201cSale Price\u201d, and \u201cStock quantity\u201d in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also see the attribute boxes on the right side of the form and other editing options at the top of the table we will explain how to use them later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let\u2019s try to edit the Stock quantity of some variations and see how the <strong>VBULKiT &#8211; Bulk Edit WooCommerce Variations &#8211; plugin <\/strong>can help you to manage them, easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-inline-edit-stock-quantity-field\">Inline edit stock quantity field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Inline edit is a fast and convenient way when you want to set a new quantity for one of the variations assigned to one product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By using the <strong>Inline Edit<\/strong> method, you can just manually set a new stock quantity for each variation displayed in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to set a new stock quantity for the variations of another product, you can easily use the navigators to see them in the table.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-navigate-between-variable-products-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1118\" height=\"545\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-navigate-between-variable-products-1.png\" alt=\"Navigate between variable products\" class=\"wp-image-2433\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible to click on the Product Name box and choose your favorite product from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-select-individual-variable-product.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1116\" height=\"543\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-select-individual-variable-product.png\" alt=\"Select individual variable product\" class=\"wp-image-2437\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, as you can see in the below picture, we are editing the stock quantity of product no.30 -Tshirt with logo, directly from the table by following the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the <strong>Stock quantity<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write <strong>5<\/strong> in the box or use the navigators to increase\/decrease the number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press <strong>Enter<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-change-variation-stock-quantity-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"654\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-change-variation-stock-quantity-1.png\" alt=\"change variation stock quantity\" class=\"wp-image-2426\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> When you assign a number to the stock quantity of a product, our plugin converts the value of the <strong>Manage stock<\/strong> field to \u201c<strong>Yes\u201d<\/strong>, automatically. However, in other editing methods you need to choose \u201c<strong>Yes<\/strong>\u201d for the <strong>Manage stock<\/strong> field manually, then try to edit the stock quantity of the variations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-edit-stock-fields-of-single-product-variation\">Edit stock fields of single product variation&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Edit by Row is a useful method when you need to revise a stock quantity of one variation assigned to one product. So, we followed below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set <strong>Yes<\/strong> for the <strong>Manage Stock<\/strong> field in the <strong>General<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Manage Stock<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Decrease by %<\/strong> from the first combo box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write <strong>50<\/strong> in the text box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Do Bulk.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-edit-variation-stock-quantity-by-percent.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1012\" height=\"373\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-edit-variation-stock-quantity-by-percent.png\" alt=\"edit variation stock quantity by percent\" class=\"wp-image-2418\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see below, the stock quantity of the first two variations has been decreased by 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-result-of-edit-variation-stock-quantity-by-percent.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"543\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-result-of-edit-variation-stock-quantity-by-percent.png\" alt=\"result of edit variation stock quantity by percent\" class=\"wp-image-2435\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Stock qty is not the only field that you can bulk edit in the <strong>Manage Stock<\/strong> tab of the <strong>bulk actions<\/strong> form. As you may notice in the above picture, there are also <strong>Low stock thresholds<\/strong> and <strong>Allow backorder<\/strong> fields available to be edited. You can also manage which products are in stock or out of stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s review them one by one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bulk edit variations in stock field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, consider that all variations selected in the previous example must be in stock. So, we tried to follow the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mark required variations in the table.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>Selected variations <\/strong>from the <strong>Edit<\/strong> icon on the toolbar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-05-select-variation-and-click-manage-selected-variation.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1129\" height=\"657\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-05-select-variation-and-click-manage-selected-variation.png\" alt=\"select variations and click manage selected variation\" class=\"wp-image-3256\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>General<\/strong> tab of the <strong>bulk actions<\/strong> form, choose <strong>No<\/strong> from the drop-down list of the <strong>Manage Stock<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-07-change-manage-stock-field-no.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1091\" height=\"776\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-07-change-manage-stock-field-no.png\" alt=\"change manage stock field to No\" class=\"wp-image-3257\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By pressing the <strong>Do bulk<\/strong> button, all variations you have selected before will be out of stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bulk edit variations on backorder field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To allow backorder for the variations selected in the previous example, you can easily open the combo box in front of <strong>Allow backorders<\/strong> in the <strong>Manage Stock<\/strong> tab of the <strong>Bulk actions<\/strong> form and choose <strong>Allow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, click on the <strong>Do bulk<\/strong> button to set those variations on backorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-09-change-manage-backorder-field.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"995\" height=\"474\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/06\/02-09-change-manage-backorder-field.png\" alt=\"change manage backorder field\" class=\"wp-image-3258\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bulk edit variations low stock threshold field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you have a lot of variable products in your store, it is very important to set a low stock threshold for them to get notified when the qty of them in the stock is low.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To bulk edit low stock threshold, some default functions are available in the <strong>Manage stock<\/strong> tab as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Set new<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formula<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase\/ decrease by value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase\/ decrease by %<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, suppose that you need to decrease the low stock threshold of the selected variations by <strong>5<\/strong>.
