Let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bulk edit product categories<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bulk edit product categories is possible by following below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on \u201c<strong>Bulk Edit<\/strong>\u201d at the main page to open bulk edit form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to \u201c<strong>Categories \/Tags\/Taxonomies<\/strong>\u201d tab in the form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in the below table there are two main boxes in front of category option and we are going to see how you can take advantage of them to bulk edit product table:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Condition box<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first box in front of category field includes three conditions as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Append:<\/strong> The category or categories you are selected will be added to the existing categories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Replace: <\/strong>All current categories will be removed and replaced by the category or categories you are selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete:<\/strong> The categories you have selected will be removed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-condition-box.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-condition-box.jpg\" alt=\"change multi product categories at the same time in Woocommerce bulk product editing plugin\" class=\"wp-image-817\" width=\"1200\" height=\"639\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Select Box<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By clicking on the second box, you can see all of the categories you have assigned to your WooCommerce products and you are able to select&nbsp; one or more from the dropdown list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-select-box.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-select-box.jpg\" alt=\"set new category for product\" class=\"wp-image-819\" width=\"1200\" height=\"640\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you add any categories to the product page of WooCommerce, it will be added automatically to this box and you are able to select among them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Some examples for bulk edit product categories<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is some example for bulk edit product categories in WooCommerce variations bulk edit plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Append or add terms to product categories<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For example we wanted to add <strong>clothing <\/strong>to the existing product categories. So, we selected <strong>Append <\/strong>from condition box and chose \u201c<strong>Clothing<\/strong>\u201d category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After clicking on \u201c<strong>Do Bulk Edit<\/strong>\u201d, the result is as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation-editing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-bulk-edit.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-bulk-edit-e1688898822948.jpg\" alt=\"do bulk edit for changing category in woocommerce bulk product\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see \u201c<strong>clothing<\/strong>\u201d was added to our product categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delete or remove terms from product categories<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, we decided to reverse our decision for the first two products, so for bulk remove category, we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marked the checkbox next to those products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chose \u201c<strong>Delete<\/strong>\u201d from the Condition box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selected \u201c<strong>Clothing<\/strong>\u201d from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As we expected, <strong>Clothing <\/strong>was deleted from the category column of the first two products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-select-delete.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ithemelandco.com\/docs\/woocommerce-bulk-variation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/03\/10-select-delete-e1688898895111.jpg\" alt=\"remove some categories from product\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Replace terms in product categories<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Then we tried to replace categories of the first two products by \u201c<strong>Clothing<\/strong>\u201d.
