Inline edit WordPress category \/ tag is a simple and useful way for changing the category or tag of each WordPress post directly from the post table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can Inline edit WordPress category \/ tag of each post by following 3 simple steps in WordPress Bulk post editing plugin<\/span><\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Add WordPress category \/ tag column to the post table <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
To add category\/ tag column to the post table, you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress dashboard<\/strong> > Pro bulk bundle<\/strong> > Woo posts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click on\u00a0 \u201cColumn Profile<\/strong>\u201d button to open columns form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Mark \u201cCategories<\/strong>\u201d and\u00a0 \u201cTags<\/strong>\u201d under taxonomies field in that form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

For example you can find the post with ID number: 1611 <\/strong>as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, we marked \u201cBreakfast<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cSport<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cSummer<\/strong>\u201d and assigned them to the post tag by clicking on\u00a0 \u201cApply Changes<\/strong>\u201d:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add new category \/ tag in WordPress<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
If you need to add a new category \/ tag to the list, it is simply possible by clicking on \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button and filling some field in the new form appeared such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slug<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Parent<\/li>\n\n\n\n

By opening the category\/ tag page of WordPress, you can see the new category has been added there automatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
