Creating detailed customer overview is straightforward with the REPORTiT – Advanced Reporting for WooCommerce plugin. This report provides a comprehensive view of both registered accounts and guest checkouts, allowing you to identify your most valuable customers and understand different buyer segments.
How to get the customer report in the REPORTiT plugin
To gain valuable insights into your customer demographics and purchasing behavior, first navigate to Customers > All Customers then set the following filters:

- Define your analysis period using the Date and Time filter. You can use presets like last month, this year, etc. Or set a custom range using the built in calendar

- Refine your customer list using targeted filters:
- Customer: Filter the report for a specific person by name.
- Total Spend: Filter customers based on their order amount.
- Order Count: View customers by their number of purchases.
- Item Count: Filter by the total quantity of items purchased.
- Email: Find a specific customer email address.
- Joined Date: Analyze customers based on their registration date.
- Customer Type: Filter the report by customer type (New or Returning).
- State/City: Filter by geographic location.
- Product/Category/Tag/Attribute: Identify customers who purchased specific items.
Example: To specifically see the report for new customers, use the Customer Type filter. Select “New” to view first-time buyers, then click Apply.

The generated report presents your data in two main interactive sections.

Customizable Performance Overview
This dashboard provides a high-level summary of your customer metrics:
- New Customers: Count of first-time buyers.
- Returning Customers: Number of repeat purchasers.
- Refunded: Total amount of refunds.
- LTV (Lifetime Value): The total net revenue from a customer.
- AOV (Average Order Value): The average amount spent per order.

Detailed Customer Data Table
This sortable table contains the complete customer list with individual performance data.
- Customer: The customer’s name.
- Email: The customer’s email address.
- Orders: Total number of orders.
- Item Count: The total number of items they’ve purchased.
- Last Order Date: The date of their last purchase.
- Total Spend: The lifetime total they have spent.
- AOV: Their personal Average Order Value.
- Customer Type: Their classification (e.g., New, Returning).

Fully customize this view by showing/hiding columns, adjusting items per page, or using the search function to find a specific customer.

Finally, you can download the entire report for offline analysis in formats like CSV or Excel.
