Hiding product prices for specific user roles is a useful solution when you don’t want to display the price of products to some visitors of your online store. It is important when the prices are not fixed and change frequently or when you want to offer special prices to some users or change the prices based on their requests to customize their orders.

Using this powerful plugin, not only you can hide the product prices but also it is possible to replace the product price with a custom message on the product page, and shop page.
To show you how to do this task in this plugin, let’s have an example and review the steps needed to hide the prices of all products from the Editor and Author roles.
- Go to the iThemeland -> Role Based Pricing.
- Go to the Hide Price tab and mark Enable Hide Price & Add to Cart.
- Mark Hide for registered users to hide the price of selected products.
- Open the drop-down list of Select User Roles and choose Editor and Author roles from the list.
- Marke Hide price field. This step is optional. Mark this item only if you want to hide the prices in the Archive and Product page.
- You can also fill in the Price Text field and write a custom text to replace it with the product price on the Archive and Product page. We write “Contact Us” in this example.
- If you select one or more products or categories in the Select Products or Select Categories fields, then the rule will be applied to those selected products or categories. However, if you ignore these fields, the rule will be applied to all products of your store.
- Click on the Save Settings to hide the prices.
So, when users log in as Editor or Author, they will see the custom message for the selected products as shown below:
