How to import posts in WordPress using WordPress Bulk posts editing plugin?

Importing data and uploading posts to WordPress can help you to update some data related to the old post. Also, add new posts to your WordPress website. This means for WordPress bulk uploading posts you are able to use WordPress Bulk post editing plugin.

To import posts data in WordPress Bulk post editing plugin, you need to upload a CSV file in the “Import / Export” tab which is available in the below address:

How to Import thousands of WordPress posts in WordPress bulk posts editing plugin?

There is no difference in how much data is included in the CSV file; you can import CSV to WordPress at the same time using our plugin by following below steps:

Step 1: Upload file in the “Import/Export” tab 

To upload file for importing data to our plugin, you need to click on the “Import Now” button in the “Import/Export” tab.

Then, a new page will display and you can upload your CSV file by clicking on the “Choose file” button.

In the pop-up you can choose the proper file from your PC and upload it by clicking on the “Open” button.

If you just want to update data of those posts that have the same ID and SKU with the uploaded file, mark the checkbox in front of “Update existing posts“. However, if you want to import all data in your uploaded file leave the option unmarked.

 Click on the “Continue” button to go to the next step.  

Step 2: column mapping for importing data precisely

In the column mapping page, you will see two parts. At the left part, the columns of your uploaded file are displayed. So, you can easily find out which columns are you importing to the WordPress. 

In the second part, a combo box is displayed in front of each column. It to let you map each column of your uploaded file to one of the fields in our plugin. 

By default, those columns are assigned to a field automatically. If you are uploading a file exported from our plugin before, there is no need to change the mapping columns.

However, this is an extra option for you to manage and control the data imported to the WordPress. And assigned to your posts, more convenient in a few seconds.   

When everything looks good, you need to click on “Run the importer” button to let the plugin import the data.

Step 3: Importing

This step will be done automatically. So, you just need to wait a few seconds or maybe a few minutes. Then lead you to the next step automatically.  

Step 4: Done

If you see the message shown below, it means that the plugin imported data successfully from the uploaded file and you can see the changes by clicking on “View posts”.

The new posts or updated data are displayed in the post table. You can bulk edit or filter them as your requirements. 

If you open the post pages in WordPress, the imported data are also accessible there and you can publish them or make any other changes you need.
